About Me

I am a PhD candidate in Philosophy at the University of Calgary. I mainly work on epistemology and the philosophy of science and have a strong interest in American pragmatism and Marxism.
My current research primarily explores the social nature of knowledge, particularly how social organizations and technology provide the justification of knowledge and what normative elements could be involved. I’m also interested in the interaction between social and natural aspects in scientific research. My thesis is on the social epistemic status of AI and the epistemic norms governing its use.
I enjoy thinking and interacting with students in the class, and have been teaching several introductory philosophy courses in various settings.
