Humanroid & Philosophy

Since 2025, I have served as a ethics consultant for Shanghai Simulacra Dynamics Ltd., a humanoid robotics startup based in Shanghai. Its core team originated from Columbia University and Carnegie Mellon University, with over a decade of technical expertise in fields such as humanoid robot motion control, biomimetic mechanical design, computer vision, and emotional interaction algorithms. I provide philosophical perspectives and ethical guidance on practical applications to scientists.

Popularization of Philosophy

Since 2018, I, together with my undergraduate supervisor Xingming Hu, start the Chinese Philosophy Popularization WeChat official account: Philosophical Debates on Practical Issue. I actively participated in the operation of the official account and published multiple articles on it. I also run a philosophy popularization account on chinese video website Bilibili and a philosophical literature translation group in Chinese internet forum.

Shanghai Culture Revisit

I was born in Pudong, Shanghai. However, due to urban development, much of Shanghai’s history and culture has been forgotten, especially the culture related to dialects. I have always had a keen interest in my own culture (including but not limited to Shanghai’s history and traditional theater) and plan to conduct research on Shanghai’s local culture in the form of fieldwork.
